Pursuit on E17 ends with serious crash just past the exit in Waregem: “Occupants fled on foot but were quickly caught”

The car of an unsuspecting couple was rammed at the De Vlecht traffic intersection in Waregem on Saturday evening by a Volkswagen Golf GTI with a French license plate that tried to escape the police during a chase. The getaway car overturned, but the occupants had no intention of simply being arrested.
