Short return: Christian Kammann leaves Engelhorn

Just a year ago, Christian Kammann returned to the Mannheim fashion retailer Engelhorn as Head of Buying from the Galeria department store group. Now he is supposed to leave the company again.

Engelhorn is restructuring its purchasing and giving Katharina Graupner more responsibility, as the Textilwirtschaft trade magazine reports. She was previously responsible for purchasing for online retail as well as women’s fashion, accessories, shoes and beauty in physical retail as Head of Buying. In addition, there is now Kammann’s area of responsibility, who succeeded Klaus-Peter Rahn last March and was responsible for the sports, menswear, children’s clothing, underwear and stockings segments. As part of this restructuring, Kammann and Engelhorn will also part ways again.

The change is scheduled to take place on March 1st. Graupner, who has been with the company since 2010, heads the luxury/studio division together with Armin Wegner, managing director for fashion and sport, and will continue to report to him.

Engelhorn has not yet responded to a request from FashionUnited.
