Just before the shoplifting, police arrived at a suspicious situation. There it became clear that an assault had taken place. The officers did not have to search long for the suspected perpetrator.
The police arrested a suspect late in the afternoon for the theft of an expensive pair of jeans. The 119-euro pants came from a clothing store. At the station, the officers discovered that the suspect was also involved in the assault that took place just before the theft. How exactly this became clear, the police are not sure.
