EINDHOVEN – As a kid, Cody Gakpo saw his idol Jefferson Farfan shine in the Champions League. Posters of the checkered Peruvian PSV attacker were hanging in his boys’ room in the Eindhoven district of Stratum and he dreamed of one day shining in the championship ball.
