The woman from Oss who was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of involvement in a shooting in her hometown was released on Sunday. The woman remains a suspect in the investigation, the police said. A 40-year-old man from Oss is still detained and is seen as the main suspect.
A man was shot at around ten to half past one in his bus on Thorbeckestraat in Oss on Saturday afternoon, he managed to drive himself to a GP station for help. The victim was injured but is not in danger.
The police then searched for the shooter with a police helicopter and raided a house on a trailer park on the Wapendrager in Oss. The suspect, a 40-year-old man from Oss, is said to be there. Ultimately, the suspect was arrested later in the day on Saturday.
The 36-year-old woman from Oss was also arrested on Saturday, at a different location than the main suspect. Police are still investigating the shooting and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
