There was a shooting in the Ten Oeverstraat in Hoogeveen this morning, the police confirm. Two Hoogeveners aged 27 and 28 have been arrested as suspects.
The police received a report around 9 a.m. about a conflict in a home, in which a shot turned out to be fired. No one was injured.
The investigation into the case continues. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and calling on witnesses to come forward. “Multiple arrests are not ruled out”, a police spokesman previously reported to RTV Drenthe.
