At least 12 bullets were reported to have been fired, according to local TV station TMJ4. Two injured people were treated and one was taken to hospital. The family of the deceased Da’Shontay King Sr. say three more people were hit, but police have not confirmed this. There were no injuries among the cemetery staff. Only relatives were said to have been hit.

A video was shared on Facebook in which it can be clearly heard that several shots were fired at a rapid pace.
According to a spokesman for the local police, it must have been chaos at Graceland cemetery during the funeral of King Sr. “People were running, jumping in cars, screaming. We have received several emergency calls,” said spokesman Kristi Wilcox.
Da’Shontay King Sr. was killed by police bullets on May 20. He allegedly got out of his car during a traffic stop with a gun in hand. When he did not obey a police order, fire was opened on him. King was 37 years old.
