With its brands Gabor, rollingsoft and Pius Gabor, Gabor Shoes AG is once again bringing many new styles for the Fall/Winter 22 season, both for women and men. The new women’s fashion is characterized by brightness and sportiness, but at the same time more elegant city styles, modern business and casual shoes are gaining in importance. Square shapes are increasingly seen in all types of shoes.

Combat and biker boots are indispensable in the coming season – they are particularly popular in light colors such as white, cream, beige, sage, light rose or caramel.
Gabor brings the Combat Boots in many variations: Rough versions with solid soles as well as more soft types. New models come, for example, with wedge soles or with leather trimmings on the vamp. Exciting looks create contrasting soles or Chelsea-typical side stretch inserts, some of which can also be quilted.
Biker boots are also stepping on the gas in the A/W 22 season: the transition to combat boots is smooth, but for real bikers buckles, for example, can also make the look rockier. Chelsea boots and trekking shoe variants are other important types of ankle boots in the coming season.

There are also many innovations in the field of long-shaft boots, for example particularly fashionable variants with combat bottoms or sporty sneaker soles. The shaft is often cut a little wider.
sneakers
Sneakers remain an integral part of fashionably casual outfits, often as a high-top variant in autumn. Gabor brings them with both shell and running soles. They combine a fashion statement with comfort and technology from the sports shoe sector.
loafers
Loafers, pumps, ballerinas, college and dandy types are all on the rise. A modern design is important for these shoes, which are often worn on occasions or in the office.
Loafers go perfectly with the new trouser fashion with wider, often shortened silhouettes. Gabor brings them in many variants, they are particularly fashionable with distinctive soles. In the field of ballerinas, sporty, ultra-light bottoms or college types with distinctive profiled soles are in demand. New lace-up dandies supplement the range in the low shoe area. The demand for pumps is also increasing, so Gabor offers many variants with different heel heights and last shapes.
Colors, materials, decorative elements
Light shades determine the fashion image: beige, cream, light grey, soft rosé, white and off-white are important colours. Natural tones are also very important, especially light and medium brown tones, but also green, reed and gray. Pastel colors are light and delicate, often rosé, sometimes also blue or lilac.
In addition, black is not only a color for basics, but also a fashion color. Different levels of sheen and contrasting, eg with caramel-colored soles make it exciting. The color gold is very important for eyelets, zippers and decorative elements, sometimes shiny, sometimes matt. Chains are often used as jewelry, but also horse bits or shimmering clasps.

At Gabor, the range of comfortable equipment features is large. Many shoes, both sporty and elegant, are equipped with a removable footbed, which noticeably improves comfort and step cushioning. Shoes with original Hovercraft soles offer a particularly soft step thanks to their air chambers.
Sacchetto designs or pumps with a flexible insole ensure special softness and flexibility. In the “Soft&Smart” version, the cover sole is softly padded from heel to toe and has additional cushioning in the heel and ball area.
Shoes with the “Soft Move” footbed are equipped with a special foam that noticeably reduces the pressure on the particularly stressed areas on the heel and ball of the foot. A side stabilizer integrated in the insole provides additional comfort.
For the winter, Gabor offers many models with warm linings for different cold days. In addition to slightly roughened textile linings, there are also cozy warm linings and a variety of shoes with real lambskin.
sustainability
Sustainability plays a central role for Gabor. Many of the leathers used are certified according to environmental standards, for example by the LWG (Leather Working Group) or EMAS (EU environmental management). Metal-free, organic leather and DriTan leather are also used, which are characterized, among other things, by their particularly low water consumption.
In addition, more and more recycling materials are being used. For example, the cork that Gabor uses for footbeds and covers is made from 100% cork residues. New removable footbeds are also made from recycled material.
Gabor produces a large part of its shoes in Europe in compliance with the strict EU environmental guidelines and with short transport routes. A large proportion of the electricity required today comes from renewable sources, such as a large photovoltaic system at the Gabor production site in Portugal.
Fits and sizes
Gabor’s claim is to be able to offer the ideal shoe for every woman and every foot. That’s why Gabor women’s shoes are available in different widths (F / G / H) and in sizes 2.5 to 11 (46). A special feature is the fit concept “Best-Fitting”. Here, with the normal ball width (F), the stepping surface has been widened, which provides more comfort in the forefoot area.
Gabor is also known for its boot shaft width concept from XS narrow shaft to XL super wide shaft boots. Many long-shaft boots are also available in a variable width, where the shaft width can be additionally adjusted, for example with clips, elastic bands or other solutions.
rollingsoft
rollingsoft is Gabor’s own brand and has been very successful for over 10 years. The sporty sneakers and ankle boots have a special bottom construction that supports natural rolling. A stabilizer integrated in the sole guides the rolling movement and provides more lateral stability. rollingsoft come in new designs and are light as a feather. They have high-quality leather interiors and removable footbeds.
Robust trekking variants with a particularly non-slip profile are also available with original Gore-Tex equipment.
