Anything she touches turns to gold…actually! Because now rapper Shirin David (27) seems to have burned his hands a bit. One of her hits is suddenly gone.

The reason: a legal dispute with the German cult band Kraftwerk. It ended 0-1 for the self-made millionaire. Setback for Shirin – she had to take her song offline on Spotify, among other things.

Background: Over the weekend, the singer did a question and answer session on her Instagram account. A fan asked why her “Hoes up G’s down” hit was no longer available on the streaming platforms.

The artist’s answer followed promptly: “Unfortunately, I had to change the sample because Ralf Hütter (Kraftwerk) doesn’t want Shirin David to ride his Beat Jet Ski in the pool.”

A song that caused a stir in the past! The video shoot for “Hoes up G’s down” took place during the corona pandemic with over 100 people. The police finally moved in with a large-scale operation and found numerous violations of the applicable requirements.

Now the next excitement: For the beat of “Hoes Up G’s Down” the artist seems to have used a sample from the Kraftwerk song “The Man Machine”. But the rights for this lie with the founder of the power plant, Ralf Hütter (76).

Without further ado, he prohibited the use of the sample. Shirin’s song quietly and secretly disappeared from the streaming platforms and has now been re-released with a new beat.

Under the music video with the new sound for “Hoes up G’s down”, Shirin’s fans are now disappointed with the new version.

In comments like “New version breaks my heart” they vent their anger.
