“She’s six weeks pregnant!”

Bridget Maasland finds it reprehensible that Bibi Breijman was pushed by Evert Santegoeds to announce her pregnancy at such an early stage. “After just six weeks!”

Many couples keep their pregnancies a secret until after the twelfth week because 80 percent of miscarriages occur in the first trimester. However, Privé boss Evert Santegoeds doesn’t care: yesterday he posted on the cover of the weekly magazine Privé that Bibi Breijman is expecting her third child.

Six weeks

Bibi was therefore forced to announce her pregnancy Instagram. They think it’s disgusting RTL Boulevard. “She is now six weeks pregnant. She would have liked to keep it to herself and her children for a while, but that was not given to her,” says presenter Luuk Ikink.

The reason? “Evert Santegoeds felt it necessary to make it public in Privé. I don’t know exactly why either. He didn’t want to wait any longer.”

Bridget is disgusted

Bridget Maasland then looks disgusted. It is clear that she is vomiting on Evert. Colleague Aran Bade: “I really think so… That’s really not possible.”

Luuk: “No, it’s bizarre.”

Evert himself finds it defensible, he says Show news. “There are people who say: can you write that at such an early stage? But in recent days she has told it to people herself and if you say it to one, he or she will say it to two and then at a certain point it will go very fast.”

Private circles

Presenter Dyantha Brooks is critical of this. “Anyway, Evert, in private circles is of course completely different from putting it on a cover. I think it’s quite something when someone is pregnant to publish that.”

Evert: “Yes, but that is our job and we have always done that.”

Dyantha: “Aren’t there unwritten rules for this?”

Evert: “No, yes, unwritten rules, but if you inform people about them yourself, then you know that it will spread.”

Parents

Colleague Sandra Schuurhof thinks it is inappropriate. “Yes, maybe your parents, I think that’s something else.”

Evert: “I don’t want to say that the parents told me, but there were people in the profession who knew.”

Sandra: “It’s very early, isn’t it, that pregnancy?”

When Evert cuts her off, Dyantha comments: “We think so, Sandra.”

Sandra: “Yes, we think so.”
