“She’s like a weak hanging doll!”

Dionne Stax, together with her colleague Carrie ten Napel, has been duped by their public broadcasting colleague Marcel van Roosmalen. He thinks they are like ‘two week hanging dolls’.

The successful Omroep MAX is known for its somewhat sluggish, but wildly popular programs. Dream House Wanted is one of them. That program is currently presented by Carrie ten Napel and Dionne Stax. A fragment of this is shown in the latest episode of the NPO talk show Media Inside.

‘These were journalists’

Presenter Gijs Groenteman then notes that he thinks Carrie and Dionne have slipped quite a bit. “These women were serious journalists just like you used to be. Do you realize that?”, he says to his dinner guests Wouke van Scherrenburg and Roos Moggré.

He continues: “Dionne has a rich career with the News, she has presented election broadcasts. Well, Carrie ten Napel was a well-known sports journalist. And now Jan Slagter has got his claws in them and now the two of them are walking through Marbella.”

Weak hanging dolls

Colleague Marcel van Roosmalen then goes the extra mile. “It is unbelievable that he makes soft hanging dolls out of all those independent women. Don’t you think so?”

Wouke thinks the gentlemen are too critical. “No, you know… Those women are smart enough to want to say yes or no and don’t forget that Carrie presents Op1 in a good way. She is one of the favorite presenters.”

Gijs: “Yes, but she also descends. Once Jan Slagter has something in his head, it must and will happen.”

“Where’s Sybrand?”

Wouke mainly wonders why Sybrand Niessen no longer presents this program. “What I wonder is where Sybrand has gone, because if this is in the great disease that prevails in Hilversum – the rejuvenation, the rejuvenation, the rejuvenation – then I think Omroep MAX is…”

Gijs: “Yes, we already had an entire item about this in Media Inside that he is working on a sick rejuvenation cure at Omroep MAX. Really very dangerous.”
