The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), a shelter in North Carolina, posted a series of photos early this month of Bruno biting off an ear on his favorite stuffed animal. “The same ear that he himself lacks,” it sounds at the SPCA. Bruno lost his ear due to an attack by another dog. Because he lived outside chained up at the time, he couldn’t run away.
The shelter managed to draw a lot of attention to Bruno, and was able to find a new home for him in no time. “And just like that Bruno has a new father!!! Of course, his matching cuddly toy has to go with him, so that they can remain friends forever,” the shelter shares in a message on Facebook.
