Het Britse olie- en gasbedrijf Shell heeft beslist om de olieproductie stabiel te houden tot 2030, terwijl het in 2021 zei dat het bedrijf die productie met 1 tot 2 per cent per jaar zou verlagen om de klimaatdoelen van 2030 te halen. Daarenboven will opvoeren Shell de productie van vloeibaar gemaakt aardgas (lng). Daarmeeeft CEO Wael Sawan prioritizeitbetalingenaanandeelhouders.
