Shell demands compensation of £100,000 for Greenpeace action on oil platform

Greenpeace says it has received a compensation claim from Shell for the occupation of an oil platform by activists from the environmental organization. The oil and gas group is demanding 100,000 British pounds (113,000 euros), partly because Greenpeace activists placed solar panels and a wind turbine on the floating platform. The platform is on its way to the port of the Norwegian city of Haugesund.
