Shelby Lynn follows up against Till Lindemann

From the BZ editorial team

Irish Shelby Lynn (24) raised serious allegations against Rammstein singer Till Lindemann (60) two weeks ago. She is said to have been drugged at a party before the concert in Vilnius (Lithuania) and later taken to the musician to have sex with him. Till Lindemann and the band deny that.

Reporters from NDR and Süddeutsche Zeitung have now met Shelby Lynn at home in Northern Ireland and had discussions with her. In it she once again describes in detail what is supposed to have happened at the concert.

That’s supposed to have happened

Lynn claims to have been led under the stage during a concert break. When she entered the small, completely black room, she realized: “Oh no, that’s wrong. This is bad. It’s definitely a sex thing!”

Shortly thereafter, Till Lindemann is said to have appeared in the room.

Shelby Lynn told SZ and NDR: “Till is coming in. And I immediately say to him, ‘Till, if you’re here for sex, that’s your business. I do not want to do that. Sex is something very special for me. And he gets very angry and he yells at me and storms through the curtain to leave. I waited a minute for him to go away, opened the curtain and he’s still there. And yells at me: ‘No, you wait! You wait in there!’”

The encounter with the Rammstein frontman is one of the few moments that she can still clearly remember. Everything before and after is “like foggy” with her. She can only remember fragments of most of it.

Lynn says that before the concert she had found out on the internet that there would be parties around the concerts. For this she had to contact a woman from the band’s environment – apparently Lindemann’s former confidante Alena Makeeva.

At a party before the concert, knockout drops were said to have been put in her drink, she says. The band, especially Till Lindemann, strongly disputes this.

Lynn: “I’m not afraid”

After the evening at the hotel, Shelby discovered large bruises on her body. Shelby: “I’m almost 100 percent sure I was drugged. Because I’ve never felt like this in my entire life. It was a feeling like nothing else ever!”

Till Lindemann had his lawyer deny that women at Rammstein concerts were drugged with knockout drops or alcohol to enable him to perform sexual acts on them.

A statement from the lawyer said: “These allegations are invariably untrue. We will take immediate legal action against individuals for any allegations of this nature.”

But Shelby Lynn is not afraid of possible consequences. You have previously received a cease and desist order. But she doesn’t want to sign it.

Shelby to the NDR and the SZ: “Makes me bankrupt. I do not care. Take me to court. I’m not afraid. You have a lot to lose and a lot to hide. I have nothing to hide.”

Lynn wants to continue fighting to ensure that there are no more parties with young women at Rammstein concerts in the future.

Vilnius police questioned Shelby for almost five hours after she returned to Northern Ireland. But last week the Lithuanian authorities informed BILD that there would be NO preliminary proceedings against Rammstein singer Lindemann.

Till Lindemann’s lawyer has not yet responded to a BILD inquiry about the new allegations.
