A fire destroyed a shed on an allotment complex on Blankensteinweg in Meppel last night.
In addition to the shed, a nearby glass greenhouse was also badly damaged. Firefighters were able to put out the fire, but the building was beyond saving. Police have cordoned off the area around the fire and are investigating possible arson.
