“She just wanted to be known!”

The bullet is through the church: the single B&B proprietor Hans has shown his eccentric date Desiree the door. “She just wanted to be known on television over my back!”

The departure of the eccentric candidate Desiree from Hans’ bed and breakfast captivated many viewers on RTL 4 yesterday. No fewer than 935 thousand people (20 percent market share) watched her departure from B&B Vol Liefde. Hans was abandoned not only by Desiree, but also by his other potential lover Hayriye.

Desiree gets kicked after

Hans thought it was horrible with Desiree, he looks back now The Telegraph. “Desiree drew all the attention to herself. That wasn’t fun anymore. That just got annoying. It just happens that people don’t quite understand how to behave around someone else.”

How does he feel about Desiree getting so much shit? “Very rightly so. Rightly so. He paid no attention to me at all. He wanted to be known behind my back on TV, I assume. I don’t know.”

Old viewers for Renze

Immediately after that beautiful score for B&B Breakfast, RTL 4 saw things collapse again when Renze Klamer’s talk show started. 651 thousand people (15 percent) watched it. Not a bad score, but he does score poorly in the commercial target group, according to viewing figures expert Tina Nijkamp.

Tina: “Funnily enough, he scored the lowest market share so far in the target group 20 to 54 years: 11.9 percent. Op1 scores 14.8 percent and Hart van Nederland 13.1 percent. Renze probably had too many ‘old’ topics in the broadcast yesterday. So apparently it could be a bit hipper and younger in terms of subject choices.”

The Smartest on one

The Smartest Human is almost always the big winner at prime time in the summer, as was the case yesterday. This time 1.6 million people (33 percent) watched the knowledge quiz on NPO 2. Immediately afterwards, Nieuwsuur was left with 644 thousand (14 percent).

The other most-watched prime-time titles were NPO 1’s The Feeling of the Four Days Marches (828 thousand), women’s football on NPO 3 (741 thousand) and NPO 1’s At least Durable Until (610 thousand).

Viewing figures

Other programs that did not make the top 15 include Hart van Nederland (611 thousand), Shownieuws (501 thousand), Mr. Frank Visser Does Uitspraak (399 thousand) and Shownieuws Summer Edition (198 thousand).
