Musician Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon Osbourne talks openly about her husband’s Parkinson’s disease and its effects on the couple Paxman: Putting Up With Parkinson’s in the documentary program.

Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019. According to the Health Library, Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological disease whose symptoms include slowness of movements, rest tremors, muscle stiffness and balance difficulties.

In the program, Sharon said that she was sad for both herself and her husband. He described Ozzy as having been full of energy before he got sick.

– When I look at my husband, my heart breaks for him. I’m sad for myself, but what he’s going through is worse, Sharon said.

According to Sharon, the good side of the situation has been that after the diagnosis, the couple has spent more time together.

– I love my husband more than I did three years ago.

Sharon said that Ozzy uses cannabidiol for the nightmares that came as a side effect of his illness. In the interview, Sharon joked that she was smuggling medicine for Ozzy through customs.

In June, Ozzy underwent back surgery, which was said to be crucial for Ozzy’s future. The operation went well.

In 2020, Ozzy spoke poignantly about his diagnosis.

– Do I ever wonder when my time will come? Osbourne pondered.

– I think about it, but I’m not worried about it. I won’t be here again in fifteen years, but I won’t regret it. It will happen to all of us.
