PEC Zwolle will get a new organizational structure, the shareholders of the club have decided. The supervisory board will cease to exist. Instead, the Foundation Board will be given more responsibilities. Furthermore, there will be a management of two persons: a general manager and technical director.

At the moment, general manager Marcel Boudesteyn is the sole director. Mike Willems is technical manager. It is not yet clear what their future will look like. The details of these positions will be determined by the shareholders in the short term.

A top priority in all plans and decision-making, both organizational and financial, is the return of PEC Zwolle to the premier league within a year. The starting point for the first selection is a smaller number of players and staff, but that a higher level is set up. The other organizational units also work with a smaller permanent staff.

In financial terms, the starting point is a financially healthy and stable club. The budget for the coming season will be determined in the short term, but the objective is clear; to break even.
