Shortly before the release of their concert box set, the band is re-releasing a single in a live version.
As a preview of the release of their live box set, which will be released on December 15th, Placebo have released a video “Try Better Next Time” from their concert film included in the release, “This Is What You Wanted.”

The band’s first live recordings on vinyl
After a 25-year career, the rock band has announced a box set with live recordings for the first time. The title: PLACEBO LIVE. It is also the first time that the group’s live material will be available on vinyl. The compilation “This Is What You Wanted” consists of videos made during their shows in Mexico, Spain and London.
In addition to the Blu-ray of This Is What You Wanted, the new collection also includes a vinyl record called COLLAPSE INTO NEVER, as well as a live CD called LIVE FROM THE WHITE ROOM and a poster. Each gig was recorded over the past year and a half as the group toured the world in support of their latest album NEVER LET ME GO.
Box contains tracks from all Placebo albums
Fans can look forward to songs from various albums by the band. The film includes songs from the self-titled debut album PLACEBO, but also from SLEEPING WITH GOSTS and, for example, LOUD LIKE LOVE. Her covers of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” and Tears For Fears’ “Shout” are also featured on the live release.
