Beverly Hills, 9021 star Shannen Doherty says she is not ready to die.
Actor Shannen Doherty, 52, has been battling cancer for eight years. In June, Doherty had said on Instagram that his cancer had spread to the brain.
Now Doherty tells Peoplein an interview with the magazine that the cancer has spread to his bones.
– I don’t want to die. I’m not ready to give up. I haven’t stopped loving. I haven’t given up hope that things will get better. I’m just not. I’m not ready to leave yet, he admits to the magazine.

The actor says that he often asked himself why the disease in question happened to him.
– Why me? Why did I get cancer? Why did my cancer come back? Why do I have widespread cancer? Such thoughts make you think about the purpose of life, he lists.
Doherty hopes to bring more awareness to the world about cancer.
– I think it’s crazy that we still haven’t improved, he says.
The actress was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. By 2016, the cancer had spread to Doherty’s lymph nodes, and she had to undergo eight rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. Doherty’s condition improved in 2017, but three years later the actor said the cancer had recurred. Doherty has openly shared her battle with cancer with her social media followers.
Doherty is remembered among other things Beverly Hills, 90210 – and Charmedseries.
