Shannen Doherty admits that she was a difficult colleague on the set of Beverly Hills 90210.
Seriously ill actress Shannen Doherty, 52, reveals Let’s be clear podcast that he had a “huge problem” Beverly Hills 90210 – on the set of the hit series.
In the podcast episode, Doherty tells For Jason Priestley the reason was on the side of his private life. During filming, Doherty was married to an actress suffering from drug addiction Ashley Hamilton with.
– I was in a really terrible marriage. There were things in the union that made it really difficult for me to be at work on time.
– I know that I became a huge problem for the rest of you.
Doherty wishes that the production had intervened more with his behavior.
– It was no one else’s responsibility but myself. But someone could have sat me down and said that if this continues, the end result will be dismissals, because we can’t take this anymore, Doherty describes.
Priestly acted as Doherty’s co-star in the Beverly Hills series.
– It was incredibly difficult. If only we knew more about what was going on in your private life. I wish I could have been more sympathetic, but we knew what we knew, Priestly sums up.
Doherty’s character Brenda was written out in the fourth season of the hit series. The series was shown in 1990-2000. Doherty has already said before that he quickly gained a reputation as a difficult colleague.
– There is one word to describe my behavior. I was a badass.
Doherty says he’s always been a brutally honest person, and at times this has turned against him.
– It’s a trait I can’t change in myself, and it’s also a trait I like.

Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, and now the cancer has spread to the brain and bones. The actor has also said in the podcast that he has planned his own funeral, the guest list of which will be short.
Doherty has a clear view of who does not want to attend the event at all.
– I think there would be a lot of people who I don’t want at my funeral.
– I don’t want them because they probably wouldn’t come for the right reasons. They don’t really like me enough to come to my funeral.
