Telstar Women will travel back to Velsen-Zuid tonight with a red face on their cheeks. The team lost no less than 9-0 against champion candidate FC Twente. VV Alkmaar did a lot better and played a nice draw against Feyenoord: 0-0.
At halftime it was already 5-0 for the Tukkers. Three of those goals were scored by Fenna Kalma. Marit Auée and Elena Dhont scored the other goals. Goals from Kalma and Dhont, Suzanne Giesen and Naomi Pattiwael again made it a painful evening for Telstar.
The White Lionesses started the second half of the season well with victories over PSV and VV Alkmaar, but are now losing for the third time in a row. As a result, they are penultimate in the Eredivisie for women.

VV Alkmaar
At home, VV Alkmaar kept Feyenoord Women 0-0. There could have been more, but the opportunities were not used by Mark de Vries’ team.
Due to the draw, Alkmaar remains ninth in the women’s premier league. ADO Den Haag is the opponent next week.
Ajax Women did not play today. They will play against PSV on Sunday. Kick-off is 12.15 pm.
