Player advisor is said to have sexually abused underage footballers

Several young soccer players report under oath to have been treated naked by a consultant and touched at the genitals. The accused rejects the allegations.
These accusations weigh heavily. A player advisor is said to have touched underage footballers in over 100 cases in the intimate area. This is reported by the research portal “Correctiv”.
A total of eleven players reported to the portal independently of the abuse of power and sexual acts by the consultant, who did not mention the report by name and only “N.” is called. Four of the players signed affidavit for their descriptions that they were treated naked by him in N.’s office under the pretext of sports medical examinations.
Some of the eleven players are therefore active in the Bundesliga today. The attacks are said to have taken place between 2010 and 2023.
The accused consultant, who is now supposed to work in an “influential function” at a player consultant agency, was also asked about the allegations by “Correctiv”. This is said to have left numerous questions from journalists unanswered, but in a written statement pointed out the accusations. He reports of “offers” for the players to play “very good football as possible”. There was “active mobilization, active stretching, statics check” at the request of the players.
N. had entertained particularly intensive business relationships with the SPVGG Unterhaching, is said to have looked after the third division team’s “40 to 50 players” and had close contacts with trainers, physiotherapists and club tour.
A player who was once active in the young area of the Hachinger describes in the report: “I can still remember exactly how he touched me on the pubic bone or pushed it inside in the bar and pushed in there.” Before treatment, the player advisor has “May I?” asked. The then 16-year-old player replied with “yes”, whereupon N. touched him on the testicle.
Another athlete says about N.: “When I look back, I feel a kind of shock. I feel his approach today as manipulation.”
Another player who was already of legal age at the time of his care reports that he had been touched “at least 40 times” by the consultant to his genitals.
In addition, N. is said to have carried out painful shock wave therapies for several players. Since this is an exercise of medicine, the implementation is prohibited. The consultant also gave no information on this whether he was justified.
The managing director of the consultant agency, for which N. works, was faced with the allegations against his employee. He is quoted with the words: “According to our reviews in the past few days, we will not find a clue to your allegations.”
