Europa League winner FC Sevilla has reacted to the sporting decline and parted ways with coach Jose Luis Mendilibar.
The Andalusians did not get beyond a 2-2 draw against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday evening and, with just two wins this season, are not in a relegation zone simply because of the better goal difference.
The 62-year-old Medilibar only took over the club, which was already threatened with relegation, in March and then led them to relegation and their fifth Europa League triumph since 2014.
