Sevilla FC: Coach Diego Alonso has to go – Sánchez Flores as his successor?

The negative trend at Sevilla FC has ended in the second coaching dismissal of the current season and the third of this calendar year. The Uruguayan Diego Alonso, who only took over in October from José Luis Mendilibar, who had been in office since March, has to leave the club after just 67 days in office (to the coaching history). Quique Sánchez Flores, who is currently without a club, is mentioned in the Spanish media as a possible successor. The 58-year-old has already coached four LaLiga clubs in his career, including Atlético Madrid. With the capital city club he won the Europa League and the UEFA Supercup in 2010.
