The first complaint came from a 21-year-old woman who said she was feeling unwell, dizzy and couldn’t remember anything about the party after midnight. She hadn’t drunk any alcohol. She reported to a hospital where blood was taken, but the results of that examination are not yet known.
The party was held just before the upcoming summer recess and attracted about a thousand visitors. Chancellor Olaf Scholz was also present. A party spokesperson says it was “an internal event that you could only enter with an invitation.”
