At least four people were injured in a serious accident on provincial road N201 near Vinkeveen this morning. The police speak of a ‘very serious accident’. The situation of one of the victims is ‘worrying’, according to the police.
The accident happened around 9 a.m. this morning when four cars collided with each other.
It is not yet clear how many injured there are. The police speak of ‘several occupants’ who would have been injured. An eyewitness says that the fire brigade certainly had to free one of the victims from the car.
The havoc on the road is considerable. The road is largely closed due to aid to the victims.
