Several football clubs show their support to Donny van Iperen

For the match Go Ahead Eagles – PSV, the club from Deventer has expressed its support to Donny van Iperen. The footballer has been in a coma since last week after he collided hard with the opponent’s goalkeeper for his Moldovan club FC Zimbru.

Van Iperen previously played for Telstar. The club from Velsen-Zuid came onto the field on Friday in a special shirt for the game against PEC Zwolle. In youth, Van Iperen played for AZ. The Alkmaar club showed its support for the footballer on the big screens in the stadium on Thursday.

In recent days, the defender’s family tried to get him to the Netherlands. At first this was not possible because he no longer had Dutch health insurance, but in the end it worked. He was transferred to Erasmus MC in Rotterdam.
