Three Apache combat helicopters of the air force are training in North Holland today. From the base in Leusden, the three helicopters fly above Amsterdam and Hoorn, among other places.
The Apaches are part of the low-flying exercise ‘Warhammer’, in which flying units and ground units train their cooperation.
The three helicopters flew over the IJ in Amsterdam and above Hoorn. After a few rounds, the helicopters landed on a vacant lot at the Pelmolenpad parking lot in Hoorn.
