The Ajax Women lashed out against PEC Zwolle on Sunday. Partly due to two goals from Nikita Tromp and two from Nadine Noordam, it was 7-0. The deficit on leader FC Twente remains three points and the team from Amsterdam has a much less goal difference.
The team from Amsterdam showed grace for PEC in the first half by scoring only twice. Nikita Tromp and Chasity Grant made it 2-0 at halftime. In the second half things went smoothly and Tromp, Nadine Noordam (2), Romée Leuchter and Tiny Hoekstra scored a goal. That resulted in the final score of 7-0. The Classic against Feyenoord is scheduled for next weekend.
VV Alkmaar
The women of VV Alkmaar played 2-2 against Excelsior on Friday evening. Veerle van de Most made it 1-0 after five minutes, but Lieve van Vliet scored the equalizer in the first half. After the break Maudy Stoop again gave Alkmaar a lead, but Van Vliet gave her team a point after all.
