Iron Maiden are currently on tour in Germany as part of their tour “The Future Past”. The six-piece band from Great Britain is coming to Dortmund, Frankfurt and Munich for a total of five shows. On Tuesday (July 25th) the heavy metal group will be playing in Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle. Due to the high demand, they will be giving an additional concert on Wednesday (July 26th).
Admission to the Westfalenhalle is from 6 p.m. on both concert days. The Raven Age has been announced as the opening act on Tuesday (July 25). On Wednesday (July 26th) the ESC band Lord of the Lost will be supporting. The concerts are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
After their performances in Dortmund, Iron Maiden will play in the Festhalle in Frankfurt (July 29th) and two gigs in the Olympiahalle in Munich (July 31st and August 1st). They will also headline the Wacken Festival on August 2nd.

Both the concert on July 25th and the additional concert on July 26th in the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund are, at least with the ticket provider Eventim, completely sold out. On the Homepage of the Westfalenhalle there are still a few seats. Tickets for this cost 106.35 euros.
In addition to the regular seats, there are also tickets for the Event Lounge for the concert on Wednesday (July 26). Here the concert-goers get exclusive lounge or balcony seats as well as food and drinks. The tickets cost 230.00 euros.

Motorists have a direct connection via the B1 (A40) to the A1 (Hansa line), A45 (Sauerland line), A2 (Berlin – Hanover – Dortmund – Oberhausen), A42 (Duisburg – Dortmund), B1 (A44) (Dortmund – Kassel) motorways.
Due to the high volume of traffic, concertgoers are advised to use public transport in the city of Dortmund to travel to and from the venue.
Those who travel to the Westfalenhalle by public transport can either use the U42 (stop “Theodor-Fliedner-Heim”), U45 (stop “Westfalenhallen”) and U46 (stop “Reinoldikirche” or “Stadtgarten”) or the bus lines 448, 450 and 452.

Park
At the Westfalenhalle there is parking for around 8,800 for cars and buses. The hall therefore recommends that concert goers use the multi-storey car parks, underground car parks and park-and-ride options in the city center and the surrounding districts of Dortmund. The parking fee is EUR 9.00 per car in all parking areas.
Weather
Sun and clouds will alternate in Dortmund over the next few days and maximum temperatures of around 20 degrees will be reached. On Tuesday (July 25th), concert-goers must expect rain showers.
