Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has to do without midfielder Amadou Haidara for the time being.
The 24-year-old suffered a medial ligament injury in his left knee in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier with Mali in Tunisia. This was the result of an MRI examination in Leipzig. The club did not provide any information about the severity of the injury.
Haidara was most recently under the new RB coach Domenico Tedesco, as under his predecessor Jesse Marsch, a regular at Leipzig. With Mali he missed the first participation in a World Cup finals by the 0-0.
