The driver was driving along Landtong, a street with parking spaces on both sides, around 12.30 pm when things went wrong. The car veered off the side of the road, grazed a parked car and then crashed into the front of a car parked behind it. The wreckage came to a stop when it landed on its side.
Resuscitation
The police, firefighters and ambulance personnel – including an air ambulance – arrived on the scene. The driver was removed from the car by firefighters, then resuscitated by ambulance personnel and taken to hospital. It is unknown whether the victim’s life is in danger. The police are investigating how this accident could have happened.
