A serious accident occurred in Venlo on Thursday morning involving a passenger car and truck. The 32-year-old driver was seriously injured.
The emergency services, including a trauma helicopter, were called at 8:15 am.
Two injured
A truck has hit a car in the side on Venrayseweg. The driver of the car had to be extricated from the wreckage. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries, a police spokesman said. According to a correspondent at the scene, an unknown liquid is leaking from the truck.
It is not yet known how the accident could have happened. An investigation is being conducted in which a police helicopter takes aerial photos.
