The incident arose around 11 pm and would have escalated among football supporters. According to witnesses, Zulte Waregem supporters suddenly got the stick after the game against Club Brugge with a group of fans of KV Kortrijk.
The Mira police zone is currently investigating the precise circumstances and the reason for the fight. In the meantime, one person concerned has spontaneously presented himself for interrogation, the public prosecutor reports.
