A collision occurred this morning between a truck and a mobility scooter on the Kolhoopstraat in Emmen. The driver of the mobility scooter was seriously injured.
The accident happened around 10 a.m. at a zebra crossing on Kolhoopstraat. Several emergency services then responded. There is also an air ambulance on site. The driver of the mobility scooter was taken to hospital by ambulance.
