Seriously injured after falling from Van der Valk hotel in Zuidbroek

Someone who was working at the Van der Valk Hotel in Zuidobroek was seriously injured and taken to hospital on Friday afternoon.

The victim worked for a company that installs solar panels. Exactly what work the employee did on the roof is still unknown.

According to a spokesperson for Van der Valk, the victim stood on a skylight and fell through it. At least seven police cars and an air ambulance attended the accident.

Behind the hotel is the Eurohal. This is also owned by the Van der Valk chain. About 500 asylum seekers currently live here.
