Seriously ill Jenoah (5) has the day of his life with the police and at the airport

Since August last year, Jenoah has been treated for his illness. “That hindered him considerably in the most intensive period, of about six to seven months. He has been ill a lot, has often had hospitalizations and has had a total of 28 radiation treatments in his head and neck area. That means that you have to go to the hospital every weekday, and you still get chemotherapy in between. December and January we had a pathetic pile of people,” Toren remembers.

It was very special that he was also allowed to participate in an exercise of the Special Intervention Service (DSI), and made a helicopter flight from Eelde. “I’ve seen quite a lot,” says Jenoah, admiringly as he has just stepped out of the helicopter cabin. “Our house, grandpa and grandma’s house, their work. And I wasn’t afraid at all.”
