France’s ex-international player Payet is now playing in Brazil. An earlier affair of the player now speaks up and does not report anything good.
Dimitri Payet completed 38 missions for the French national team. However, the last one is a bit ago. After stations at West Ham United, Olympique Marseille and OSC Lille, the 38-year-old now plays at Vasco de Gama. Now he caused a stir from football: because the Brazilian authorities have opened an investigation against the professional.
Payet is heavily burdened by a Brazilian woman. As can be seen from official documents, which the British tabloid “The Sun” presented, the lawyer Larissa Ferrari accuses him of “physical, moral, psychological and sexual violence”. The incidents are said to have occurred during a seven -month relationship.
The public prosecutor in Rio confirmed the admission of a procedure on Saturday. Payet has already been displayed. His former partner accuses him of forced her to abuse and have physically attacked them several times. “He is a sick monster, I was afraid of death and I am still scared.” Payet is said to have made humiliating demands in several WhatsApp messages that are also available to the police.
According to Ferrari, the first contact between the 38-year-old and 28-year-old Brazilian came about over a wrong Instagram account in August 2024. In the episode, the exchange on WhatsApp changed, later Ferrari traveled from the state of Paraná to Rio de Janeiro, where she met the footballer for the first time in the hotel of his team. The relationship intensified. Ferrari describes that she regularly accompanied him and increasingly developed emotional closeness.
From October, however, Payet’s behavior changed. According to her statements, he urged her to dress up as a bride and spoke of a symbolic wedding where she was supposed to wear a ring. In the further course there were verbal and physical attacks. Ferrari reports that Payet insulted her and threatened her with “punishments” – for example after the publication of a photo with tickets she put online.
“He said I was the only person he could trust. He said he would punish me and go back to his family for 30 days. He told me that if he came back, he would also punish me sexually,” the 28-year-old accused the footballer. Payet is married to Ludivine Payet and has four children with her. These continue to live in France.
The allegations range until January 2025. After his return from a family stay in France, Payet, according to Ferrari, physically attacked her in his apartment and exercised sexual violence. The woman showed the police and the newspaper corresponding photos of hematoma on legs, arms and on the back.
Ferrari publicly commented on her request and said that she wanted to encourage other women with her history not to accept attacks. Dimitri Payet was confronted with the allegations by the press. There is no reaction from him so far.
