Serious accident in Veurne: car destroyed, driver unharmed

A driver lost control of his vehicle. The car collided with some concrete road obstacles, and came to a stop across the track. The impact broke part of the engine block and a wheel. The driver escaped unscathed, but his car was completely destroyed and had to be towed.

Due to the accident, the Vaartstraat was closed for a short time and the fire brigade had to come to the scene to clear debris and engine fluid from the track.
