Jay-Z is accused of rape in connection with the Sean Combs case and fires back.

On Sunday (December 8th) the lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs was expanded again. Now Jay-Z is also among those accused in the numerous cases of alleged sexual abuse. The rapper and Beyoncé’s husband is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with Combs.

The accuser remains anonymous

The accuser remains anonymous and is identified only as “Jane Doe.” She said the assault happened after she was invited to an after-show party for the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000, according to the BBC. The indictment states that the alleged victim, then 13 years old, was approached by a limousine driver as she was trying to get to the event at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

The driver took her to a party after the awards ceremony, where she allegedly had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. According to the indictment, the alleged victim recognized some celebrities at the party and claimed to have been given drugs. According to her own statements, she took a drink that a waitress offered her and then felt dizzy and went to a room where she lay down briefly.

According to the lawsuit, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jay-Z and a celebrity (named only as “Celebrity B” in the lawsuit) entered the room where the alleged victim was. According to the BBC, the lawsuit goes on to say that Combs approached the girl “with a crazy look in his eyes,” grabbed her and said, “You’re ready to party!”

Jay-Z then allegedly held the 13-year-old down and raped her before Combs did the same. “Celebrity B” allegedly watched. According to her own statements, the woman defended herself against the attack, which probably made Combs recoil. The girl, who was still a minor at the time, took advantage of this and fled.

The attack left its mark on the victim, the lawsuit says. The woman is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and depression due to the alleged rape, according to the BBC. There are claims for damages.

Jay-Z expresses his anger at X

Jay-Z, real name Shawn Corey Carter, released a statement on social media the same day, calling the lawsuit an “extortion attempt.” In the statement, the musician clearly denied the allegations, insulted the lawyer who filed the lawsuit, Tony Buzbee, and emphasized that he would never abuse a child: “These allegations are so heinous that I implore you to file a criminal complaint , no civil complaint!!! Anyone who commits such a crime against a minor should be locked up, don’t you agree?”

In his statement, Jay-Z also said that he sees his family and children affected most of all, they should not be subjected to these public accusations against their father. “My wife and I will have to sit down with our children, one of whom is of an age when his friends will certainly read about the allegations in the press.”

There is still no public statement from the prosecution regarding the allegations that have now become public.
