Sky is one of the major streaming providers on the market. Since June 2022, the former Sky ticket offer has been called Wow. In the course of the rebranding, the entertainment package became Wow series, and the film package can be booked as part of the Wow films & series tariff. Customers will then have a large number of new films and series at their disposal, with new content added every month. The same applies to Sky Q. New series on Sky Q and Wow in November
In November we can again look forward to some new products from Sky and Wow. At the end of October, the sequel to the acclaimed series “The White Lotus” will also be available on the streaming service, which also won this year’s Emmys. The cranky detective “Bux” from Switzerland is investigating again in “Tschugger” season 2. And with “Souls” another exciting and award-winning Sky original is launched.
The White Lotus (Season 2) – from October 31st
Due to the enormous success, a second season of the production “The White Lotus”, which was actually only conceived as a mini-series, will be released in October. Then it’s time: New hotel, new guests and new drama!
Ice Road Rescue – Extreme Rescue in Norway (Season 7) – from November 2nd
In November, the new 7th season of the popular reality series “Ice Road Rescue” starts on Sky and Wow. The production accompanies people who save others in extreme situations and risk life and limb in the process.
#TextMeWhenYouGetHome (Season 1) – Coming November 6th
A gripping true crime series that deals with a different case in each episode. The overarching theme: Crimes against women who could no longer reply to the message “Write me when you get home”.
Souls (Season 1) – starting November 8th
“Souls” is a Sky Original and will be released in November. The focus is on the question of whether souls can actually “wander”. In three storylines, the series follows different protagonists who are confronted with death in one way or another. An extraordinary event then brings everyone together.
Tschugger (Season 2) – from November 10th
Entertaining Swiss crime series. In the second season, Johannes “Bax” Schmidhalter and his colleague Pirmin Lötscher face the no less important task of saving Wallis from destruction. In the process, they track down an ominous sect and a mole in their own ranks.
New films on Sky Q and Wow in November
The Sky Und Wow film selection in November includes some highlights. At the end of October, the film “Belfast” by Kenneth Branagh, which is well worth seeing and was nominated for the Oscar for best film, will also be available on the platform. (Almost) fresh out of the cinema we can then see the new “Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets” on Sky as well as the adventure strip “Uncharted” with Tom Holland.
Belfast – from October 24th
9-year-old Buddy has a happy childhood in late 1960s Belfast. However, the burgeoning unrest and civil war-like conditions destroy family happiness. Kenneth Branagh, known for his powerful images, directed the film, and the leading roles are convinced by Jamie Dornan, Caitriona Balfe and the young Jude Hill.
Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore – available November 4th
In the latest part of the film series in the “Harry Potter” universe, Newt, Dumbledore and Co. have to deal with the ever-growing Gellert Grindelwald. The dark magician and Dumbledore are connected by a mysterious bond that forbids them to fight each other. And of course there are lots of fantastic animal creatures.
Leave in love – from November 5th
The film shows how a family deals with the fate of a serious cancer diagnosis. The sick 40-year-old Benjamin and his mother Crystal are supported by a doctor and a nurse.
Licorice Pizza – from November 14th
Gary is not a normal 15-year-old. He is already a successful child actor and has founded his own well-run PR agency. When he meets Alana, who is ten years his senior, he falls in love immediately. The two become friends and start a waterbed business together. But not everything goes according to plan.
Uncharted – out November 18th
Young Nathan Drake is hired by well-known adventurer Sully to find mysterious treasure. Of course, the dangerous and unscrupulous Santiago is hot on their heels.
