New series on Sky and Wow in December
In December we can again look forward to some new products from Sky and Wow. Among other things, the third season “His Dark Materials” is the finale of the fantasy series. In addition to some well-rated documentaries, the third season of “The Doctor and the Lovely Cattle” can also be seen on Sky.
The Rehearsal (Season 1) – Coming December 2nd
A docu-comedy series created by and starring Nathan Fielder. The Canadian director, actor and comedian helps people prepare for difficult situations through re-enactments.
His Dark Materials (Season 3) – Coming December 6th
Starring James McAvoy, Ruth Wilson and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the series is based on the world-renowned books by Philip Pullman. Season 3 can be seen on Sky and Wow from the beginning of December and unfortunately also heralds the end of the fantasy series. Now it’s time to complete the adventures of Lyra and Will, who travel together through different worlds, while Lyra’s parents and the dubious church pursue their own goals.
The Doctor and the Cattle (Season 3)
Contrary to expectations, veterinarian James Herriot ends up in Yorkshire, England, where he starts working as an assistant to an eccentric veterinarian. You won’t believe what you experience then… The British series is based on the humorous short stories of the actual James Herriot.
The tragic death of Rob Knox – from December 29th
This documentary follows the death of young actor Robert Knox. Best known for his role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the Brit was stabbed to death outside a bar at the age of 18 while trying to protect his younger brother from an armed attacker.

A German comedy with Karoline Herfurth, Nora Tschirner, Emilia Schüle and many other German stars. The film is about five different women who are confronted with role models and their own demands in very different ways.
Cyrano – from December 21st
The musical drama starring Peter Dinklage is based on the work of Edmond Rostand. The short Cyrano (Dinklage) is far ahead of his time and both skilled with the sword and eloquent. Nevertheless, he does not dare to confess his feelings to the beautiful Roxanne (Haley Bennett). When he finally learns that the young woman has fallen in love with the handsome Christian (Kelvin Harrison Jr.), he writes her love letters on his behalf.
Downtown Abbey II – A New Era – Coming December 30th
The second part continues the story of the Crawley family, known from the television series of the same name. Now a Hollywood director is causing trouble who wants to turn the castle into a movie set. At the same time, strange clues about the family’s past in France emerge.
