Inter Milan defended its lead in Italy’s Serie A in the top game at Juventus Turin.
The Nerazzurri drew 1-1 (1-1) in the Derby d’Italia on Sunday and thus kept their pursuers at a distance: Inter (32) are still two points ahead of Juve, both teams have been unbeaten in the league since September.
AC Milan follows a little behind in third place (26), having already won 1-0 (1-0) against AC Florence on Saturday.
In Turin, Dusan Vlahovic (27th) initially gave the fans hope for their sixth win in a row after some great interaction with Federico Chiesa, but Inter quickly found an answer: Lautaro Martinez (33rd) equalized on an assist from former Gladbach player Marcus Thuram.
It was only a top game at a good level in the first half, in which Inter had significantly longer periods of possession and Turin were still on equal terms. After the break, the encounter became increasingly flat.
