November 29 – 10.29pm – MILAN

Here’s everything that happened in the 11 games on Saturday.

group a

The only victory was that of Arzignano, who, thanks to Minesso’s seventh goal, reached the top of the scoring charts) overcame Renate in the second half, thus relishing the joy of the away success that had been missing for three months. Lumezzane, thanks to Ferro in the second half, overcame Novara and found their seventh useful result in a row (in the final, the Piedmontese had to resist with ten men due to the expulsion of Adrian Cannavaro, Paolo’s son). Debut with a draw for Mario Tacchinardi on the Pergolettese bench, against AlbinoLeffe. Looking at the standings, the 1-1 draw between Ospitaletto and Virtus Verona satisfies no one: Quaresmini’s team is better on points, dangerous several times in the first half, but punished in the second half at the first real opportunity by De Marchi who finds the corner to give Verona the lead; to avoid the mockery, Ospitaletto needed the long-range magic of Ievoli who had just taken over.

group b

While waiting for Arezzo (who saw three points taken away after the exclusion of Rimini), Ravenna takes the top spot for a night by forcefully passing to Pineto: the hat trick is worth the sixth away victory for Marchionni’s team and interrupts the streak of seven useful results for the Abruzzo team, on the evening in which the latest arrival Nicolas Viola also makes his debut with the Ravenna shirt. No goal between Gubbio and Livorno: Di Carlo – former player of the match – no longer knows how to win at home, while for Venturato it is the third useful result since he took over the Livorno bench. Forlì-Bra also ends in a draw, with a spell from Petrelli

group c

Solid and concrete, Catania resolved the Picerno problem after just two minutes thanks to Forte’s strike – second goal in a row – following a corner development. The leaders (who have not conceded a goal for the twelfth match, out of 16) thus put pressure on Salernitana and Benevento, expected on Monday following the postponement of Vigorito. Crotone is also smiling: the tenth goal from top scorer Gomez, with a deflection from Laezza at the start of the second half, is enough to get the better of a good Giugliano who however suffers his fourth defeat in a row between the championship and the cup. Important success for Casertana, awaited this week since the recovery against Atalanta U23: meanwhile Coppitelli’s team overturns Cavese, who took the lead with Orlando but then reached and overtook them thanks to the decisive entry of Casarotto, who inspired a great second half (the assist for the third goal, from Vano). Salvation blow for Sorrento, who move on to Altamura celebrating the first victory of the Serpini management thanks to the two penalties converted by D’Ursi (and a lot of determination to defend the result in the final.
