The Italian Serie A has reacted to the rising corona numbers in the country of the European football champions.
From January 16, only 5000 spectators are allowed to attend the encounters. Guest fans are no longer allowed. The regulation initially applies to two match days.
“I hope we don’t have to go back to closed stadiums because then you lose interest, even if you have a great passion for football like me,” said Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri.
