Oh, there is of course a certain amount of cynicism in the previous post. Sassuolo’s squad is actually EASILY good enough to stay in the league and it’s not like the HSV/Schalke-like structure has been destroyed in recent years. Ballardini is absolutely capable of this, especially since Salerno, Hellas and Cagliari have significantly less quality (which, in contrast to the US, at least in the case of the Venetians and the Sardinians, they have somewhat compensated for this through team spirit). He also saved Genoa from relegation, which was believed to be certain, several times.
