With goals all in the second half from Coulibaly, Kastanos and Candreva, the grenades beat Palladino’s team
At the Arechi, Paulo Sousa’s Salernitana beat Monza 3-0 and conquered three very precious points for the salvation race. In the first half, three clear opportunities for the grenade, two with Piatek and one for Candreva, but the best one came from Monza with a powerful header from Ciurria that Ochoa rejected with his feet. The second half opens in the sign of Salernitana with Piatek who in the 51st minute from the center of the area serves Candreva on the left who passes to Coulibaly who from the edge starts a fantastic right-footed shot that cannot be blocked by Cragno: 1-0. In the 65th minute the goal was doubled, with Bradaric crossing from the left in the middle, the ball deflected by Pablo Marì ends up between the feet of Kastanos who sends it under the crossbar with his left foot. The grenades are rampant, Monza seems annihilated. In the 71st minute Piatek steals the ball and flies towards the opponent’s goal, his shot is powerful and Candreva lands on Cragno’s rebound and scores the deserved 3-0. In the 84th minute Piatek went one step away from goal, but it wasn’t the day: too bad, he would have deserved it. But he will still be able to console himself by looking at the standings. Difficult to console Monza which, among other things, closes in ten for the second yellow card in the 87th minute for Donati and in the last of the four minutes of added time Dani Mota also hurts. Palladino will have something to work on.
