The Italian first division soccer team Udinese Calcio was quarantined by the local health authority after several corona cases.
From January 5th to 9th, no team activities with direct contact may be carried out. Udinese will therefore not be able to play the Serie A game planned for Thursday at Fiorentina, nor the one against Atalanta Bergamo on Sunday.
Even US Salernitana around ex-Bayern star Franck Ribéry cannot play the game against FC Venice originally scheduled for Thursday. After a wave of corona infections, 25 players and supervisors are now in quarantine at the club.
